Rebounding

When you are rebounding the ball on defense or offense there is always one thing that you always want to do before doing that. It doesn’t matter if you are small or bigger than the person that you are playing against.

If you “box out” while rebounding you are more likely to get a rebound. It should work almost all the time. Because usually the person behind you can’t jump over you or be on your back because that would be an “on the back” foul.

So if you box out while you are rebounding 1 of two things will happen. One, either you can get a foul which will put the team if you do it every time in foul trouble. Or two, you will get the rebound giving your team the chance to score.

Just remember that when you are rebounding you box out and remember to sprint always and fight for every rebound.
